Project Specialist

Responsible for both internal/external training, developing end-user manuals and instructional material, training calendars; and classroom/workshop instruction. Participates in the support of court-related software including customer service, technical support, helpdesk operations, quality assurance testing for product release and new development. Orange County Comptroller

Manager, Records Management

Supervises the activities of the County Comptroller's Records Management Department. Work involves responsibility for the storage, retrieval, reproduction, microfilming, archiving and disposal of all Comptroller and Board of County Commissioners records. Works independently within the scope of established laws and regulations. Supervises staff of 10 by observation and review of work performed for adequacy and adherence to work standards. Work is subject to periodic audits. Serves as RMLO.

Bachelors degree with major course work in public administration, business administration, or a related field.  Four years experience in records management and/or micrographics with two of the four years experience as a supervisor.  Preferences include Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation, Membership in ARMA (Association of Records Managers and Administrators) and/or AIIM (Association of Information and Image Management), one additional year experience as a supervisor, and/or two of the four years experience as a Records Manager in local, county or state government.  The Comptroller's Office has a non-tobacco use policy. Manager of Fiscal Services

The Sarasota County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller is seeking a Manager of Fiscal Services. Reporting to the Director of Fiscal Services, this position is accountable for managing the overall functions of the Fiscal Services Office, which consists of budget development and management, accounting services, financial analyses and reporting, accounts payable, procurement, and cash control for the Clerk’s organization. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of five years experience in a highly responsible accounting position, government-related preferred. CPA is required as well as personnel and project management. Internal Audit Supervisor

Directs all internal audit functions for the Clerk and Board of County Commissioners of Leon County. Performs or assigns and supervises the planning and performance of audit and other special assignments in accordance with standards for the professional practice of internal auditing promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors, originated in consultation with and approved by the Clerk and/or Audit Committee. Issue reports of findings and recommendations resulting from audit examinations. Executes follow-up procedures to determine implementation of audit recommendations by auditees to correct or prevent recurrence of findings. Internal Auditor

This position is responsible for the technical supervision of staff engaged in financial management for both the Clerk and the Board of County Commissioners.
